Web publishing now
It's been several years since I put together a website; I remember getting HTTPS set up to be a particular hassle, and the dangerous sort where tedious work had to be done on a schedule or it would expire.
The state of static site automation has progressed to where I can simply git
commit
and push, and CI will build and deploy it to a CDN for me. It will even
manage cycling certs, so you can trust that this static site, which really has
no need for HTTPS, will be securely transported to you. Some things are getting
better.
